It looks old and also looks like someone engraved a number in it.

If you want more info on your token, I suggest researching business names in Germany from the early to mid-20th century. I think that there were a bazillion of these types of tokens made. Knowing whether yours was made from Aluminum or Zinc might narrow things down a little.
