Hello,

I have several questions about this piece.
At first I have no clue what it is (a coin or token or where it is from). Second I was wondering what the reverse is, is it something that someone engraved or is it a minting error?

Thanks in advance

"BERGISCHE LANDMUNZ" legend -> Jülich-Berg (in Germany) -> MJ monogram for Maximilian Joseph, its last ruler (1799-1806).

The capital of this German state was the well-known city of Düsseldorf.

This might be what is called a "uniface" coin.
That is a design on the front, but it looks empty on the back.

Could be a brockage.

I think alganbagerap is right about this one. For those like me who are wondering what a brockage is, there's a good description here... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brockage . How interesting.

Yes, it is a minting error and there are probably some collectors in Germany that would pay a nice premium fee for this coin.

Best regards from Berlin
