BU 1972 LMC Possible Struck Through Or Dropped Letter On Rim

Found this BU 1972 LMC tonight when I put it under the scope I found this mark on the rim to me it dont look like normal PMD it looks like a dropped letter or a struck through let me know what you guys think

I don't think you can get a dropped letter on the rim but wait for an expert...

A dropped letter would be on the area a die would strike. That is on the rim. (area not touched by the die) I thinking this is lettering transferred from another coin making contact with the rim in that area.
