Does this look like a 1909 VBD Matte proof? I inherited a large Lincoln collection years back and and finally going through it.

Lookup the die markers and see if they're there. Die scratches on front of the face is one I believe. However, there are some very well struck 09p vdb's out there with full square looking rims and great strikes with a matte like appearances that fool people at first glance. I believe this is one of them but check for markers

Not a proof, I am 99% certain. Could be wrong, you can check the die diagnostics yourself in hand.

Looks like a regular business strike. If you think you do have a proof coin never hold it with your fingers as picture #3 shows. Still a nice coin though.
