Welcome to the Forum. I haven't heard of SEGS. Did you google them? I'm sure somebody here has heard about them and will reply. Very cool looking doubled die.

The coin looks correct. See wddo-002, https://www2.briansvarietycoins.com...tings/cat/16.
Segs is one of the lower tier services. I've been able to cherrypick a few coins that were not attributed correctly from segs. Buy the coin, not the holder.

Thank you, I looked SEGS up, mixed reviews. I picked this coin up from my dealer the other day, got a very good deal on it. Right, buy the coin not the holder.

Not sure on this one?
This one must be an earlier die state posted below?

All examples I've seen have the clash mark on the obverse and here is an expended breakdown as to what should be on your coin if it is CONECA 1943-P DDO-002

I included the mint mark location as that should also match. (unless they changed the reverse die, but even in LDS it looks pretty good, so that probably didn't happen.

Wow very informative, I appreciate that thank you!! I think I will be sending the coin off to either NGC or PCGS.

If you send it off to PCGS, then you will need the FS number from the " Cherry Pickers Guide" or they will grade it for you with that number. But make sure all the doubling on the other devices is there. If it isn't then it might not be the doubled eyelid. If it is there on the other devices on the Obverse, then it is a match. The image of the eyelid didn't look like a match from what I've seen. That was my concern.

I double checked the coin, it does show the same issues as you pointed out in the pictures, I believe I was not taking good enough photos haha. My head seems to get in the way and overshadow the whole thing. I referenced it to my Cherry Pickers Guide as well. Thank you again.

That was my concern. The doubled eye didn't look correct. So it was good to check the other devices for the hub doubling. At least now you know for sure you have the real deal.
