But I have noticed something that has kept repeating itself time and time again. The 2006 P Lincoln Cent's steps on the memorial looks like well, junk. It looks like a few steps, then a block, then more steps. I just checked out about 75 of them and they were pretty much all the same. I came across a 2006 D, and the steps looked great. Does anybody have a 2006 P with full steps? Report this Post to the Staff

A number of years are known where there is little or no step detail. It's just a normal part of the process of making coins as cheaply as possible. Report this Post to the Staff
OrDirtDevil Valued Member United States 214 Posts	Posted 02/23/2008 10:31 pm I noticed this also a couple years ago when my freind Bmanofnbc sent me out 7-8 rolls of 2006 P. I also noticed this on some 1982D cents. There was hardly any steps showing at all I figured it was from wore dies. No way any coins could grade high like that is there? In order to grade anywhere near MS66-67 doesn't it have to be almost a full strike? Report this Post to the Staff
