I have not recently seen any of the newly designed Jefferson nickels in circulation for some time now. Low mintages?

I'll let you know with the $200.00 worth I just got today ! I've never paid too much attention to that. Westward Series I still see on occasion (I"m lacking two "P"'s for my set to be complete) But the new Jeff's....... hmmm I remember a shiny one or two.....but that's about it in my pocket change....I'd like to know something about that too. I wonder if I should keep good conditioned ones that I find.......

I have seen plenty of the 2006 Jefferson nickels, but only recently am I seeing a lot more 2007. I always seem to get them late. I will probably not get my first 2008 for a few more weeks, and it will be months before I see them a lot. Of course, being increasingly cashless is hurting my "finds" these days!

I'm interested in seeing what the roll-hunters (eaglefoot!) will report!

I have yet to find an 08, but the 04-07s are all around if you look for them. Searching nickels, I come across dozens of them in every box. The register at work is full of um too.

Well, with 300,000,000+ of each, there is no shortage!!

The only one I don't see too often is the buffalo one. So many people have hoarded so many rolls that it's possible they are rarer in change. Unfortunately that makes them less valuable rather than more valuable.

I'm not even seeing the westward journey nickels in circulation. I might only have 2 maybe 3 of the new Jefferson design. I just haven't seen them in my change.
