I have an Ike dollar coin which has on the reverse side a raised eagle. The coin feels like a raised bump over the eagle. What type of error is this? Should I pay for error to be certified? What could this be worth. Pic is attached.

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it.

Whatever the issue is, it wouldn't be worth getting it slabbed. The coin has been damaged in some way as it does not have the appearance of a proof coin. The S mintmark would indicate a proof. The coin is also dented at the rim.

If there is a mistake in your listing and it is a 1978 D, the situation would be the same.

The surfaces of the coin have been altered. What you are seeing is likely a damage of some sort but a better picture is required to be sure.

Thanks,
Bill
