My grade would be MS-64, but I've seen at lot of variance in the grading of Franklin half dollars. On good day it might get an MS-65 from a TPG, but the mark on the bell at the bottom plus the minor marks on the face and obverse fields prompt me to grade it MS-64.
Rest in Peace

Bill , I don't think those minor abrasions on his face would warrant a grade of 64 . The hit on the bell maybe .
Just MHO .

Agree the bell hit keeps it at 64. Otherwise, very choice. I think the TPGs are tougher on Franklins than almost any other series.
