Latest half dollar roll hunting video. Tried to follow the suggestions to keep the video short. That was sort of tough because I this was a multi-box search. I had a lot of fun making this video, probably because the boxes turned out to be pretty decent.

No. I used to. Coin roll hunting in the city is tough. But finding parking to return your coins around the banks is even tougher!

Cool finds. I love to CRH, but it drives me nuts that I don't have enough time since I like to check for varieties, etc, it takes me longer.

Chequer, do you variety hunt all denominations? I find that half dollar varieties are really hard to identify. Like it's somewhat subjective. Thoughts?

Remember, I'm in Canada, so I'm talking hunting Canadian coins and our banks don't carry halves regularly (only if customers turn them in). For the US, each denomination has its own learning curve, for sure, but once you get an idea as to what to look for and the general places things like doubled dies tend to occur, it gets easier to recognize them.

Okay so yeah I overlooked the fact that you are based in Canada.

So what coins do you search? I feel like CRHing in Canada is a true test of will. Since pennies are out, and there is the active metal recycling program in effect, it limits what you are going to find.
