Stage B: light die crack between pillars 3 and 4 running south from the right side of the dome

Stage C: Die crack extends down to the S in CENTS

Can you see any cracks? The glare suggests the coin is worn smooth but you may be able to see the crack in hand.

If anything, I'd go with an RPM.

No, I don't see a crack, not even a trace of one.

It does appear that there is some notching. Does the coin have any markers or does it match any of the listings?

No, it doesn't match any of Brian's variety coins. But it does appear to match the RPM Rackster posted earlier.

I only see a couple that it might be, but this is the one I'd lean towards. 1942P RPM-017.

I hope you can ID it at some point. Nice circulation find HT!

Thank you very much Rackster! I actually bought a roll of War Nickels below spot. The dealer told me it would be around $38 but when he looked online for silver price, it came up as $34. Ended up paying $36 for the roll.

Again, thank you! I will get there eventually.
