Here's a section that will get you thinking. It is about the commemorative banknotes which have been issued in Scotland.I know that they were usually a 1 Pound denomination until 1999,when the Scots Parliament 1 Pound note came out. There has been 5 Pound notes, most recently 2 issues in July 2005.There was a 20 Pound note to commemorate the Queen Mother's 100th Birthday, plus a unique 100 Pound note, which was printed & presented to the Queen Mother.Does anyone have any more information about the Scots commemorative banknotes?
