As far as I know,ASE's,have only a few errors on them. With that in mind,I don't normally look very close at them. But, the other day I went looking through the ones I have and found this.(see picture)It has what looks like MD to the back of the head and cap.The thing is...I have five of them with the exact same error.
The question I have is;If it's on all five is it MD or die doubling? And would it add any value if it is a DDO,since it is just bullion?

Thanks BigSilver!
I use a Cannon T5 Rebel. With the 18-55mm that comes with it.It's mounted on a cheap copy stand.I think I paid about $25. for it.The camera is set at 1:1 and I use axial lighting.
Other than that...just a lot of practice.
One of these days I hope to upgrade and get a stacking program.

I have seen this on the obverse and reverse (around eagle) on several of my ASEs. It is so common I don't think it is considered an error.

I am no expert by far, however I think this could be on all EDS coins.
