I was wondering what the thoughts are about this penny if its stamping or human error made on the 4 in 1944? Thank you for any information!

to CCF. Could use a close up of the date but it looks like post mint damage to me.

Note how that area is parallel to the rim. It was probably damaged in a vending machine.

Moving parts on vending machines can damage coins. The date fits into this era for this to happen.
