Alright. I posted this probably a year back, and would like to see if anyone else could shed some light on this find. I'm a new Mustang owner, and I'm looking to sell this if it's worth it to sell at all.

Thanks for any help or insight. I am also looking for a dealer in the Albany, NY area so if anyone can recommend one that would be a great help!

I'm mainly a coin collector but it looks like an obstruction error. I'm sure someone will come by to confirm/dismiss my analysis.

I don't think its an obstruction error as some of the pattern shows and an obstruction would have blocked all of the printing in that area. It looks more like the press was poorly inked in that area. As to value I have no Idea.

I'm just guessing but you might be able to get $80-$200 for it.

That's a very unusual note. The other poster was correct, that if this was caused by an "obstruction" then you wouldn't see the lighter image in the affected area. It could possibly be caused by low ink in that area, but I'm just not sure how that could happen. It's also possible that the note was partially bleached or something, so you should take it to a qualified dealer for an opinion. If it's a legitimate error, then it's probably worth a little less than $100.

For my own knowledge: Would it be possible for there to be an obstruction thin enough that the ink could bleed through the obstruction and still get onto the bill? I'm not saying that that is what happened here. Like I said before I'm mainly a coin collector but starting to get interested in bills, this is just for my own education.
