OMG. Thanks for finding this! I think I found a fake that I find more silly looking than the 1955 DDO Cent Chinese fake!

Inexperienced collectors get stuck with really ludicrous looking counterfeits like this one more often than you think. Many years ago when I lived in New Jersey the treasure of a local coin club was selling pieces like this the president of club. The president had purchased at least two of these things and was showing them around to people before I finally spoke up. The president told me that the treasure gave him is money back, but I knew darn well that the treasure knew what he was selling.
