I had a roll of 'restricted to residents ' 2000-p South Carolina State Quarters, after searching through them I found about four error coins, two I believe to be week strike error. "In God Tru" & missing letters in Carolina. I was hoping for help putting a value on the coins before putting them on ebay. Any help appreciated. Glare from the light takes away from the great condition of the coin
I couldn't get a very clear picture with my phone, but it is a very clean coin. The plastic sleeve and flash mess up the picture. Could a coin Struck Through Grease still have a clean surface, not discolored?
After looking at some pictures of other strike through errors I can see you were exactly correct. Although with so much of the lettering missing, I still wonder if it would make it a bit more valuable?
I agree, it is fairly serious for a Greaser. I'm not an expert in this field, but I don't believe there is a lot of demand for these. It may sell for a small premium, but not too much.
