Does anyone know of any websites where I can buy cheap rolls of dateless Buffalo nickels?

Just watch ebay for bulk lots of no date Buffalo nickels to pop up. I've seen them in groups of 1000 coins for around $200. APMEX sometimes has them too.

You just have to define what "cheap" is. The wholesale "buy" on no dates is around .11 cents each and rolls "bid" for around $6. Expect to pay somewhere between .15 and .20 cents each for decent, untreated no dates. Once they get acid treated they are worth even less ....... UNLESS you uncover a better date!

but why? if there is no date, there is likely no mint mark either. At this point you are just buying metal.

As you know, different solutions will bring out the date, even though the likelihood of any value would be extremely low. It's sort of like CRHing - hope springs eternal.

If you bought rolls of dateless silver coins at least you would have the melt value of the silver.
