Does anyone know of any other Canadian NCLT that was made outside of Canada other than the Toronto map?

Worth noting that info post on RFD suggesting the Yin Yang coin is 1oz is wrong. It's actually lighter than the 2007 coin. Based on the image, it looks like the hole is larger. Less silver, less than half the mintage so double the price. RCM economics. At least the diameter is almost the same. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree but I can't see the maze coin being hot and I simply don't believe they sold 7700 of them already (including dealer allocations).

I think there's still plenty left but it will sell out. 8000 mintage shouldn't be hard.

You must have a really good crystal ball lol.
BTW, just noticed a new section on the mint website (directly above the new releases) called "sold-out". It shows 92 items but includes stamps as well as coins including some from other mints. Interesting.

Quote: The maze coin has a built-in mechanism for lowering its grade. If you open the capsule, the ball will pop out.... so the question for NGC etc. will be do they grade with the ball in the slab or not Notice the Statement from RCM: For your safety: Keep the coin securely in its capsule at all times to ensure you don't risk losing the small ball, which could pose a choking hazard for young children.

@CC-Ottawa On the RCM site, that sold out section has always been there in the third column under back in stock as far as I can remember. Then again, my memory has become cloudy lately. LOL @CC-Ottawa: You are absolutely CORRECT!! I just noticed that the "sold out" section now is on top of new releases. I was just so used to going to the third column and pressing the last. Yet, the sold out section is still at bottom as well. Twice in one section. Again, so sorry. @Redzapsid..... Hopefully, life lets you get up on the bright side of the bed today!! Maybe, purchasing the A-Maze-Ing coin could enlighten your perspective on the evolution of coin designs. JUST SAYING.....

The one ounce pure platinum Maple Leaf Forever, with the mintage of 250 at 2,999.95 after one day (Wait List)
The five ounce pure gold Maple Leaves, with the mintage of 99 at 12,500.00 after one day (Wait List)
Some have very deep pockets.
I had the chance to purchase yesterday morning; however, way too, too much money!!

Looks like a little glitch in web design at the Mint. The top half of this screen shot is what I see when first accessing the site under the Highlights header. If I then select 'New Releases" the options change slightly to add the second 'sold-out' list. Not idea why there are now two sold-out listings or why they are different. But there sure are a lot of 'duds' on the list. As many have said, sold out does not necessarily mean good investment or market appreciation, especially in the long term.

@CC-Ottawa What is the difference then when RCM posts on a coin "archived" vs "sold out"? I have noticed in "Charlton" catalogues that a coin may state the mintage of 5,000; yet, they state only 2,523 sold. Does this mean that the RCM does not manufacture total mintage posted if sales are bad on that specific coin?

That sold out section must be on the desktop version of the site. It's not on my iPhone

Quote:Does this mean that the RCM does not manufacture total mintage posted if sales are bad on that specific coin? Correct! The "Mintage" that is posted on each coin's sales page is the maximum that can be minted, it is not a statement of how many definitely will be minted. Sales drive the final mintage numbers and can vary greatly from the posted maximums.
