Like all coin pricing guides they use Ballpark dollars which have the same vague value both sides of the border.

Good question. Perhaps they just use the amount of whatever currency (US or CDN) the auction was listed in without doing any conversion?

I remember getting an answer on this quite a while back and it was a definite one or the other. I just can't remember which...

I haven't seen any of the ebay sale pages that indicate CDN vs US, but the CAN notation on one of the '25 nickel sales is interesting.

chequer I've noticed that as well with the odd one stating Can beside the price. It made me believe that the prices were in US dollars.
So now when looking at C&C site there is an alarming trend in prices dropping/so is that because the prices are based US but given CDN or is it that the coin market is drastically dropping at this point? It seems most are showing drops in pricing (way to many down pointing red arrows lol)

Good evening Here is an example. http://www.numicanada.com/pieces-de...ts-1958-1958The coin value is always in Canadian dollars. Watch the last line (in bold) in the notes. By cons it is not always written down page.

As far as I'm aware, the OP wasn't asking about the values, but the ebay results, and it doesn't indicate a currency on those pages. *edited to add that I notice the numicanada does indicate that it's Canadian, but the coinsandcanada site usually doesn't make a note.

Thanks for the replies. Thanks Castor for the extra source and yes, Chequer I was wanting to know if the values were in US or CDN funds. Considering the exchange rate being at 20%, I think it's an important thing to ascertain.
