I found this today in a roll of US Halves. I'm not into world coins and am looking for any info or links. The coin itself is slightly larger in diameter than a US Half, has a reverse that is quite similar to a US Half, and has Thomas Jefferson on the obverse. The coin is dated 2000 and has a "S" on it that I'm assuming is some sort of mintmark. I haven't had a chance to photograph it yet but I can if it helps.

I have no idea of the worth of these coins. I have several of these in various presidents and have yet to find any info on them

That's the coin. Where have you come across these? What other Presidents do you have?

GO - Try the SCWC. There just aren't any pictures.
No mintage numbers available on this one, but it gives a value of $12 in UNC condition. The "s" is for the San Francisco mint.

How would the book "Serving Chicken Without Chitlins" be of any help?

Strange. The plethora of coins "from" Liberia, for all kinds of occasions and purposes, is bad enough by itself. However, the Liberian collector coins that I have seen so far have the country's CoA (as on this coin http://(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /countries/img/108-10d00.jpg for example), not a US eagle. Um, GO, it's Krause. the "Standard Catalog of World Coins".
