I am not sure if I should bid on this coin or how much? It is up for auction on a site I belong to.
Rest in Peace

This is a Masonic "Stock Mark Penny." The abbreviation on the back stands for "Hiram Tyrian Widow's Son Sendeth To King Solomon." A very similar Stock Mark Penny appears on page 43 of an online book at http://www.themasonictrowel.com/ebo...y/eb0330.pdf.

with BeaverDam. This is a masonic token, likely made in the 1900s.

Also, welcome to CCF!

Tes there are masonic collectors, as woth all tokens and things collectable. It is what some one would pay for it. If I came across it at the local coin shop, I would bvuy it for $5.00 or less I don't hunt for the masonic items but I do have a couple in my collection. ebay and other siteshave given a false sense of value sometimes.
