I was looking through all of the quarters my daughter pulled in selling ice tea in front of the house. I found this quarter that has strange indentations all around the rim. It looks like it was pressed on each side of the rim by a clamp, rotated a few degrees and pressed again until it looks like a stop sign. Can this be something that happened during minting, getting stuck in a counting machine, or just someone having fun?

Sorry about the blurry pics. My phone is having a hard time focusing.

Notice that in the flattened areas it shows the reeding. Since the reeding is formed during the striking of the coin, and the collars are round, whatever did this had to happen after the coin was struck. So it has to be PSD, Post Strike Damage.
