volfan New Member United States 37 Posts	Posted 11/03/2005 3:29 pm I have a couple hundred dateless Buffalo nickels and would like to see if I can apply a solution to restore the dates. I realize this will destroy any value they have, but I want to do it for fun. I don't plan on selling them, I'm just curious to see if there are any interesting finds. I know this has been discussed before, but I can't find the thread. Can someone offer some insight? Thanks. Jason Report this Post to the Staff

catman Rest in Peace United States 954 Posts	Posted 11/03/2005 4:38 pm I say go for it. The best way to learn is by doing. Get yourself some Nic-A-Date, follow the instructions and see what turns up. crystalk64 Pillar Of The Community 3147 Posts	Posted 11/04/2005 09:34 am I want the first 1918/7 D restored date that you find! Even though I don't normally buy restored dates (hate them) but I WILL MAKE AN EXCEPTION on this one. Passed one up a couple of years ago and now wish I had bought it to fill that hole in my album. Actully two albums are missing that particular coin. Still really peeved thinking they even put that ERROR coin in the album! Report this Post to the Staff
