Found this at a bottom of a lot, never seen this Kirin one before, is it real ? "Cashes" is spelt wrong, the reverse has some bad damage.

Looks like it might be. It definitely has some problems, which is probably why it was discarded into a junk lot. Neat find.

I'm certain that it is genuine as well. It may have some problems but its not a typical junk coin. Congratulations!

The variation in strike quality of contemporary genuine coins was great.
I think this one may be genuine.
If that is the case, then we have a legend blunder, or there is either die, pre or post mint damage in the 'E'area.
