Haven't posted much lately, but couldn't let this one slide. You can almost see the crater where the D was removed, and there are no obverse die characteristics of a Die #2. You can drive a truck between the (L)IBERTY and the rim.
I'm not sure that it is even a genuine coin. It might be a 1922-D cent with a removed mint mark, but it could be an outright counterfeit. The rim around the obverse looks to be too flat and wide.
