I dug this coin up in Oklahoma today. It is very heavy and quite thick. I have looked on the internet and have seen several coins that look similar to this coin but none have the same obverse as the one I have.

The coin does appear to be real.

What an interesting find here in the states. Collectors have been known to carry ancient coins around in their pockets for a number of different reasons.

Looks very similar to this Faustina II sestertius: http://www.coinproject.com/coin_det...?coin=242439
