When you are looking at the "Victory nickels" what you are looking at for grading, that's of most concern. I went through a bunch of nickels, put some good ones away from these years. I wanted to share an example to see where it falls under. Opinion appreciated.

George VI nickles are not my specialty. I'm going to say XF45/AU50 as there appears to be slight wear on the cheek and neck which would put this in the AU range and whenever I start to see a high contrast between the field under the legend and the portrait I start to think XF. Again this is how I grade and not necessarily "the book" way to grade. The rims are nice without any obvious contact marks.

I would say EF, lots of wear on georgie and on the fields. This is one of my favorite coins though, always nice to see them

bottimurillo90-
Please put these on a separate post.
They have nothing to do with the 45 nickel.
When you highjack another post, the answers will
get mixed up with those of the OP.
Also the pictures should be larger.
