I'm not sure but I think it could be a die chip in that spot that makes it look like a doubled eyelid. I would wait for some more opinions though.

Well I have to disagree. They mint mark shape and location are not a match for the 1944D-1OM-002. I check the DDO's for an eyelid match and none line up. Even on the 1944D-1DO-014, the doubled eyelid is raised, while the rest of the devices appear flattened. So I leaning towards this as being die wear on this area. The area in question is not raised like it should be.

But coop, is it still an omm? Just from a different die? Because it looks extremely similar.

After closer examination of the MM it doesn't look like 002 Ican't see the bar inside D.
