Hello.
This shows my Dads 1864 Two Cent coin. It is missing the "TS" in Cents. The letters don't look worn, and the area matches the field. Anyone know what happened here and/or change in value? Thanks for any help!

This appears to be a coin which was Struck Through Grease in that area - ie, grease filled the die and the letters could not strike up properly. Often called a "strike-through".
