paralyse Bedrock of the Community United States 12057 Posts	Posted 06/11/2016 8:33 pm If you want to be honest, list it as VF+ (no numerical grade) and make sure you mention in the listing that the coin is a ground recovery / metal detector find. Do not use the term "details", that's for the buyer and /or a TPG to decide. It's not a high-dollar coin, so I wouldn't worry too much. I do recommend putting "dug" or "detector" in the title, there is a side market for dug coins that's pretty strong. I would put it at a high VF, but that dark area on the obverse may make it a details coin. If the coin straight grades, that area will drop the numerical grade because it detracts from the coin's eye appeal. Report this Post to the Staff
