Coin/Token From (Probably Japan) - Coin Community Forum

jakubec New Member Thailand 1 Posts	Posted 06/12/2016 12:52 am Anybody can help me with this coin/token? I assume by motive it is from Japan (writing afaik can be both Japan or China). It was tested for metal purity at it is made mainly of silver (60%), about 10% is gold and the rest are another metals. Weight is about 23g. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

That's about the extent of my Japanese, unfortunately. These medals were often sold as souvenirs for various national events, such as expositions and the Olympics.
