I got this a while back and it had listed on it Jodhpur 1 pice 1939. However looking it over I'm pretty positive it isn't that cause the world coin book says its like 10.5 grams, and it isn't that heavy. Also it doesn't look right, but I cant make heads or tails out of india script.

I'm not sure if its silver or copper cause its so black but its a little bigger around a US cent and about as thin as a US dime.

@sailoranna, very interesting Indian coin. I'm going to recommend to the mods that this post is moved over to the world coins area as there are a couple folk there who should be able to help with the translating and eventual attribution.

The later machine made Jodhpur ¼ Anna's (such as this one) weigh 2.6g.

Yeah, this all started when I got another coin from Jodhpur dated 2001/1944 and I looked at it and I cant read it, but the letters and stuff looked to be right. However this ones markings look much different with the dotted line on the right pic and the S like design with a dot on it on the left pic. I couldnt find any state like this unless I missed something
