I do not know which section to put this in, but it relates to coin photography I think.

What programs do you guys use to create overlays for coins? I've been trying to figure out which program is best, but have not found much information. Help is great,

you can do layers pretty easily in photoshop

I use GIMP. It is free and open-source, install on all major OSes. Not quite as full-bodied as Photoshop.. but it does have many available optional plug-ins.
