Wouldn't think so, but I'm not really up on my LMC varieties - advise if I'm missing something. to the CCF!

Even for a 1992 Close AM itd be impossible to explain to a nuismatist or someone official. That is to convince them and I spose myself that it is real?

I am out of my league on this one! Understand the Close AM variety, but...

Argh! What a shame. Is it still true that the population is only 30 and that this would be 31?

I suspect it has value. To what extent I'm not sure what it retains. But it is a rare variety.

I never looked at these having much value ..
But I keep hearing more and more about them.
Does anyone know what one of these trade for if it does't have damage.
And does anyone know how big the collector base is?

I think it could be a 4. I think the bottom leg of the "2" it too high up on the 9.

Sorry to say bit I'm firmly in the 4 camp. You're going to need to get it in at least anacs plastic to be saleable

Damage like this can push the devices around on the coin. Any chance of a close-up of the FG at the base of the memorial? A true Close AM will have no serif on the G.

I agree, looks like a 4 to me. The gouges just don't seem to be in the right places to hit a 2 that way.
