Miss the red squirrel. One of the more iconic modern banknotes. ;) I think I am still missing one or two notes from that series though...

Red squirrel - a unique banknote on it did not even have a serial number. If you have specific questions, you can write to me.

Those older banknotes are beautiful, Katsiaryna. I am just starting to get into paper and this thread reminds me why. Ever one I seen, one after another, my gasps got a bit more audible.

They look so Canadian in design too is the fun part. I love the hare, beaver and moose especially. Are all the old notes going to eventually get rounded up and destroyed?

Nice notes, though I don't think these newer Belorussian notes worth that much. They are easy to get, on E-bay or any other place, for not a lot of money. You can even get them in bundles of 100, even bricks of 1000 for relatively cheap... But, yeah, they are colorful, and will do just fine on any collections.

According to banknotenews varieties of the 5 and 20 Ruble notes have already been found.

By the way, does anyone know how many new Ruble notes have been printed?
Or are the figures a state secret (like the number of printed banknotes in Sweden).
