I have a set of five coins, given to me years ago by a Doctor in the family. After about an hour of trying to find them online, I decided to post here for some help. All I know, is they come in a green velvet case, each encased in a plastic disk, and appear to be proofs, most likely 1oz of Silver, boasting many marks of Casa De Moneda. They are extremely detailed, some of the finest work I have seen, and appear to be dated in the early 1990s. Any help finding their origin, story, rarity, or value is greatly appreciated!

Souvenir tokens from an art event in the Metro museum in New York, celebrating 30 centuries of Mexican artwork.

Collectible as tokens, but they aren't coins.

Finn, thank you for the information! Would you say they have value greater than the silver ( I assume) they are made of?

Very nice, probably silver. My guess is that a coin shop would pay melt plus 20%.
