I used to follow the F1 for quite a few years. I saw Senna take his last title, and then die in 1994. I saw the rise of Schumi, how Hakkinen did amazing things, especially on Spa in 2000 and how Alonso took over after Schumacher's 7th title. I witnessed the 2005 Us Grand Prix scam. And I witnessed how FOM decided to artificially 'flavor' the sport and to give it a 'greener' image, which basically ruined the whole thing. I kept faithful for some more years, but then definitively I lost my interest.

This coin is just a boring as F1 is nowadays. I have no interest in buying it. Would be nice if they had a layout of Silverstone on this coin or so, just to make it a bit more adjusted to the actual British F1 race. There's much more possible than to have some random island state put a company logo, some generic single-seater and some words on a coin. It's a bit like the bullion equivalent of a generic t-shirt with 'Beach Club 85' printed on it or so.
