This is way more than I can currently tie up in a single coin right now, but this seller has recently sold plenty of nice Japanese coins for well below the catalog value. Reserve is probably set somewhere around $750-800.

The coin is legal tender for about US $450; melt value about $750.

I can't spend that much right now either, but thanks for turning me on to this seller. He has some interesting items for sale from time to time. I will follow this seller!
