Looks to be a cheaply made commemorative medal or some sort, the design looks like something from the 1960s or 1970s.

Here's one that sold on ebay recently 262456762144

The 472 is likely the serial number.

It is from the Presidential Signature series produced by the Wittnauer Mint in 1972. There are 36 medals in the set: Washington to Nixon.
