I would like to see an image of a double hp on a 1939 Canadian dollar coin. My previous post answered the dots after the word dollar and it seems they are man made but I am going to show close ups of both. Any answers are appreciated and are they of any value?

This thread might be helpful, pertaining to the identification of double HP. Notice Devlec's photo where the distinct double image of "HP" is very obvious. Yours doesn't appear to be doubled.

As for the dots, it's not entirely clear from your photo if they're sunken or raised.

Otherwise, any premium value would be totally dependant on the overall condition of your SD which is why it's helpful to post a full photo of both sides of the coin. But 1939s are very common. They were issued to commemorate the Royal Visit of King George VI to Canada, and the largest mintage between the years 1935 and 1958.

Just noticed, not sure why you have two threads on the same topic.

If the dots aren't obvious to the eye, only under high magnification, regardless of their origin, it's unlikely they would command any premium considering the coin itself is quite worn.

when the hp gets worn or hit, it can appear to be doubled, but under proper magnification you can usually tell .

Firstly there was no need to start another thread on the same coin it only adds to confusion.
Secondly you really need some good close up pics of the HP because with those pics its very hard to determine if there might be a double HP there, although it looks like there is not so far.
Google double HP and have a look at a few.
