Has one of these been found before?

I wouldn't know, as there is no huge base of Kennedy die varieties that I know of, but it's still a very cool find.

I have more than 100 of them. Look at the W of WE also.

They are on many different dates. What date is yours? I have an article on Kennedy half Doubled Dies with some pictures at
http://www.askaboutcoins.com

Once you open the picture in a separate window, put your mouse over it and left click the mouse to enlarge the picture.

Thanks,
Bill

if you look really closely, you'll also see doubling on the word LIBERTY it is also visible to a degree on the date and the designers initials.

Should I guessing the Eisenhower dollars also has a lot of common doubled dies, too? Because I found 3 already.

I can't say how common they are but there are many doubled dies on Kennedys and many on Ikes.
