I have this 1949 Canadian Penny in my collection and I'm wondering if it is a 1949 A points to denticle variety. Also, how would you grade it?

Your right on the Variety.
I would grade it about VG10.

Can't be the same. One is a 49 and the other is a 35-47.
Read the wording around the rim.

It's probably from his 1940 penny he wanted grading help with.

My guess is that they simply chose the wrong picture to upload (obverse and obverse instead of reverse and obverse)

Looks like an A to the denticle to me...

As for grade... I'd say Fine
