Got this one this evening and overall in nice condition compared to most of the ones I get. Given the nature of what the DDR's look like on this quarter I am wondering if this might be a new DDR? Current listings do not have any for this area. http://doubleddie.com/190953.html

You might check with John Wexler to see if he is interested in it?

You should get a special deal with him because you are sending so many coins in. Like a discount or something.Anyways, nice find.

Yeah, discount would be great - but I am sure he spends a lot of time on each coin and 4.00 is not a lot for what he does. I have a couple more Ft. McHenry's that may be new DDR's as well. I will post them later today to get opinions. We'll see, I don't think Wexlers lists the small ones - like this. But, last time I emailed Mr. Wexler he said I would just have to send it in. He is very busy as you can imagine and I am sure he doesn't have the time to be on the forums and looking at posts all the time. Thanks coop, thanks Dustin.

Coincents, you are going to back Wexler up a month or two. That's good it gives me more time to send in my coins.

I have the same one with DDO on the front. Also! Question guys, I found a 1968 coin thats a dark color. Bit its a rpd, it also has gold on it. A little on the front and a little on the back. Anyone know anything bout this rarity?

It's not a DDR. Typically doubled dies on newer coins have the doubling at the very center of the coin. This is far from it. From what I've seen, most Wyoming quarters have that mark. That area of the coin is likely a common place for die abrasion or deterioration.

Pictures are tough to tell on this one. The first and second picture makes it look like a Doubled Die Reverse, while the 3rd picture makes it look like a pre-Die Chip depression.
Errers and Varietys.
