"Dipping" is not considered cleaning... -from PCGS website

I read something a while back on here about the Die Deterioration vs doubling and they look similar. So I guess it's just that, deterioration. ok.

If you guys are going to collect varieties and errors, I would suggest Alan Herbert's "Mint Errors" book .. it would be the best $25 you ever spent .. you can probably get ebay copies for $10 or so. It's not the greatest book on errors, or anything close to a reference "bible", but it's a paperback, thorough, and comprehensive, with great explanations and some B/W photos.
