I don't care for that likeness they went with....

I will be hoping for decent prices in the "aftermarket" on the C&C set, regretfully...as our budget will not tolerate credit card purchases, or cash in hand...lol.

Same goes for the Proof & Uncirculated sets... (I'm way behind on these now...5-6 years, I think)

Agreed, not a fan of the likeness. Maybe it will look different in hand...

...but I really want the C&C set.

Indeed! Looking forward to it... gonna be an expensive summer/fall (non-numismatic) for me so will have to squirrel away a few dollars here and there.

For those of you on a budget, it is probably a good thing that the C&C does not come out until December.

Although pricing for this isn't known yet, I presume, can someone tell me a cost projection on this ?

I did not order the Ike C&C set either...so I have no clue.

If I'm gonna start pleading and begging my wife...I need to start working on her now...

The previous sets were $57.95 ($62.90 with shipping). I see no reason for a price increase, unless they give us more than what the other sets had: a reverse proof dollar coin, a one ounce silver medal, and one stamp.

Thanks JB....

I may tell her that I will sell some of mom & dads junk silver to pay for this....otherwise, I believe I can't justify the spending.
Unless I tell her that, if I ordered TWO, I can sell one to pay for both ? --

Assuming that there will be a "boom" or a feeding frenzy "bubble" with these....with my luck there would be no boom and I'd have a very angry wife...
I'd have to count on my LCS guy to give me $126.00 for one....the assumption would be a gamble....but the junk silver can be the backup insurance maybe...hmmm

I may just have a battle plan cooking here ! --

It has been done before.

I am going to be happy as long as I get my one.

Well, duh.

Of course, I will not try. I would be too tempted to keep both sets.
