I was cleaning off my work/computer desk and found a roll of Kennedys.
After looking through them , found the bottom 6 have a black greasy film all over them.
what happened, the cover is not damaged.
Is there any way to clean this mess off ?
O, they are dated 1977 to 1992 .

No silver just use some alcohol swabs that should do it. I doubt anything desirable in the roll.
Rest in Peace

Forget the alcohol ; use acetone for better results . also the acetone will evaporate real quick unlike alcohol which you will have to dry with a cloth .

It might just rub off too...maybe try a cotton towel ?
What was the roll kept for ?
Are they BU ones ?
Hole fillers ?
Or just circulated spenders ?

Agree with the acetone approach. Good luck.

I do not remember picking these up or putting them in the roll.

if your just going to spend them .. or dump at the bank.

put them in a zip lock bag with some dish soap and water.

Seal the zip .... shake until clean ... rinse and let dry
