I just got this as an early birthday present from the American Numismatist Association. I saw some split serifs. Note the southwest corner of I of LIBERTY and the southwest corner of the second T of TRUST. Could it just be normal, maybe Master Die Doubling, or hopefully a DDO. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I see what you're asking about, but it's way beyond me to try to make an assessment of it, however I would like to know what someone else thinks.

I agree with John1. It looks like a normal 1968-S cent to me. The usual doubled die for this year looks like this:

There are a lot of different ones that year that look like that. (But I question myself as to if this a hub doubling or not?) I just see a normal coin on OPs coin.
