I thought this was where something had hit it during circulation, but after yesterday's die clash cent, I figured it might be something worth posting.

That is a lamination that has broken away from the coin post-mint, also known as a delamination. It is not an uncommon event for wheaties and would probably only be worth a few dollars to the right buyer but it is a good example.

That is a awesome find - if you have any doubt on a coin just post it, you never know what it may turn out to be. Keep in mind everyone learns from posts - some are good finds and others may be PMD, PSD etc.
