So I went to a coin show this afternoon, didn't see what I was looking for and just as I was about to walk out empty-handed, I won this door prize:
It's in what looks to be an original cellophane wrapper, and the nice gentleman who handed it to me said it was a "proof 1964 Canadian Dollar." I know zilch about Canadian coins, did a quick Google and still remain clueless—would this indeed be a proof, or proof-like? How does one tell the difference?
